Six Black bucks die in six days
A foot and mouth disease, Khoryat, has claimed the lives of six black bucks in Bardiya ‘s Khairapura based Krishnasar Conservation Centre (KCC).In Nepal Black bucks are found in Bardiya district.
Veterinary doctor warned that if preventive measures were not taken soon the disease might afflict all the black bucks, an endangered species in India and Nepal.
In the KCC , the number of black bucks has dwindled to 209 -111 females,77 males and 21 calves.
